A recent joint operation between the King County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Corrections, KCSO Gang Unit, Burien detectives, Metro Street Crimes Unit, and TAC-30 (SWAT) resulted in 14 arrests.

EDITOR’S NOTE: This looks like it’s related to the Sept. 6 bust we previously reported on.

  • 4 on new felony charges
  • 3 for DOC violations
  • 1 arrest of a suspect wanted in a Kent robbery
  • 5 people for misdemeanor warrants
  • 1 felony warrant

Police say that out of the 14 arrests, a stolen handgun was recovered, and 309 grams of methamphetamine and 37 grams of heroin were seized.

This was part of an emphasis patrol conducted on Sept. 5, 2019

“The King County Sheriff’s Office is constantly working to combat crime and gun violence to make your neighborhoods safe and livable,” police said. “This operation went a long way toward that goal.”

“A big thanks to all of our partners that helped us with this very successful emphasis patrol,” police added.
