On Saturday, Sept. 7, Burien’s annual Arts-A-Glow festival started off with numerous amazing art installations lighting up the serene Dottie Harper Park.

Then, just before the lantern procession was about to start – BOOM! – a series of incredibly powerful lightning storms were everywhere, lighting (and soaking) everything with their own procession.

Unfortunately, the procession was cancelled and everyone scurried off to safety.
