A brand new seafood restaurant and nightclub will be opening soon in the former Twiggs Sports Bar & Grill location, at SW 128th and Ambaum Blvd. SW in Burien.

Authenticity will reign supreme at Fiesta Del Mar.

“This is not going to be your typical rice and beans place,” co-owner Sal Hernandez told The B-Town Blog. “Our cook is coming straight from Mexico.”

Sal and business partner José Baries are putting the finishing touches on the remodel of the property, as well as the menu.

“We will specialize in scallops, oysters, lobsters and crab,” Sal said.

Look for music and darts and more.

They’ll be officially opening in early July. Keep your eyes open for a “special grand opening party!”

On June 9th, Burien officials and the Southwest King County Chamber of Commerce welcomed Piranha Joe's Steak and Seafood to Burien. After a ceremonial ribbon cutting, owner Coy Wood invited the participants into the restaurant to enjoy complimentary appetizers and discounted drinks.

“With octopus, boil it a little first,” he says. “Then sauté it with ginger, garlic, olive oil and green onions.”
