Enjoy an early Valentine’s Day by drinking red wine and eating decadent desserts at Mark Restaurant this Wednesday, Feb. 10th from 7pm to 9pm, and all for a good cause – to raise money for Highline Medical Center’s new E.R..
BTB Advertiser E.B. Foote Winery, along with Mark Restaurant and Optimark have partnered to bring this first-time event to the area to help raise money for the new medical facility, which is set to open in April.
Here are the details:
WHAT: Red Wine & Decadent Desserts fundraiser for Highline Medical Center’s new ER.
WHEN: Wednesday, Feb. 10th from 7pm to 9pm.
WHERE: Mark Restaurant, located at 918 SW 152nd Street in Olde Burien.
COST: Donations for the evening are $30 per person, $50 for couple for advance sales and $35/$60 at the door.

Sandra Locklear, jazz pianist-singer and considered Burien’s “own Diana Krall” will bring her sensual sound to Burien for a special Mother’s Day Brunch this Sunday at The Mark Resturant in Olde Burien.
Locklear will perform from 11am – 2pm.
Drawing on her intensive background in many musical genres, Locklear has refined her jazz stylings over many years of performing in Europe and the United States into a distinctive sound that eludes classification.

OLDE BURIEN – Join Washington State Representative Dave Upthegrove (D-33) in fighting AIDS, all while wining and dining at Burien’s Mark Restaurant & Bar during Dining Out for Life on Thursday, April 24.
Now in their second year of participation in Dining Out for Life, Mark Restaurant & Bar co-owners Chris Mark and Debra George will donate 30 percent of their establishment’s revenue for the entire day to the Lifelong Aids Alliance.
During Dining Out for Life, which is in its 15th year, 150 eateries will contribute to the Lifelong Aids Alliance, which is the largest HIV and AIDS service organization in the Pacific Northwest.
Volunteer ambassadors will serve as hosts for Dining Out for Life. While dining at the Mark that day, just ask a volunteer ambassador or restaurant staff for a raffle envelope for a chance to win two first-class tickets to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, from Alaska Airlines.
The nonprofit organization provides a variety of services to people living with HIV and AIDS in the Puget Sound region, including fresh meals and groceries from the Chicken Soup Brigade, Lifelong’s food program. Other services include housing, insurance, and education and prevention programs.
