On Halloween (Saturday, Oct. 31st), the annual “Boo In Burien” took place, where children went trick or treating from business to business, dogs (and kids) in costumes paraded, and wiener dogs raced against each other.
This year’s event was sponsored by Discover Burien, Prudential Northwest and Grocery Outlet.
The B-Town Blog was there of course, and Photographer Michael Brunk captured these photos:

…all will have costume contests in full effect. Start times range from as early as 9pm and most have drink specials and music. The Barrel will be featuring music with Time Turner, and Elmer’s is hosting the band Kickstart to show off how well you can move your bones.
Want to star in your own performance with a little karaoke?

- Mandarin Kitchen in Des Moines
…will all let you test your pipes in true Halloween fashion.
Looking for a contest and more? Check out The Mark Restaurant (Olde Burien) where they are having Halloween trivia, costume contests, food and drink specials and a scavenger hunt starting at 10pm. This is a 21+ event.
Fun for the whole family can be found at Roxy’s at Roxbury Lanes (White Center) where kids can trick or treat from 1-4pm with treats and free game passes. Stick around if you’re a ghoul of age and check out Rock n’ Bowl, $13/person or two people for $20. Costume contest is from 9-10pm with drink specials and Jello Shots.
Want to Bowl in B-Town? Don’t look any further than Colorama Bowling at Hi-Line Lanes where you can compete in their costume contest and rock the night away.
Don’t forget BTB Advertiser Bison Creek Pizza & Pub where their event will benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation. For your $3 cover you will experience an AC/DC tribute band like no other – Chrome Molly – and have a chance at awesome door prizes and take part in costume contests.

Burien-based Northwest Symphony Orchestra is presenting their Family & Halloween Concert at 7:30pm on Friday, Oct. 30th at the Highline Performing Arts Center.
Children are welcomed to wear family-friendly costumes.
