Today’s the second-to-last Burien Farmer’s Market, which goes until 6pm, and despite any hints of drizzle or grey clouds, it’s going on as usual on 10th Ave SW at SW 152nd.

Some things you can find today:

  • Potted plants for sale, both in the middle aisle and near SW 151st
  • Fresh produce from local farms
  • Fresh breads and pastries from Forest Fairy Bakery
  • Handmade candles
  • And of course, the B-Town Blog in our usual booth

The final market is next Thursday, so if you haven’t dropped by yet, come on over – we just looked up outside our tent and saw some blue sky!

We at the B-Town Blog are pleased to extend an enthusiastic and fragrant welcome to our newest Advertiser: Diane Ball of PartyLite!

PartyLite offers a terrific way to pick up candles and other items for the house, as well as gifts for Halloween and the coming holidays.

PartyLite also offers a wonderful opportunity for hard working self starters to earn good money by becoming PartyLite Consultants.

Diane is a longtime resident of the Burien area. She’s been married for almost 20 years to Burien native Don Ball. They are the proud parents of three boys.

She was reading the B-Town Blog daily for a couple of months when she noticed our recent announcement of the very-affordable $50/month “B-Town Bargain Blurb” opportunity.

(If you would like more information on the Bargain Blurb, please call us anytime at 206-248-2565 or email us)

Diane Ball, PartyLite Consultant

Let’s start at the beginning: PartyLite began over 100 years ago when a lady named Mabel Baker started Colonial Candles of Cape Cod. Thirty-five years ago the company Mabel originated officially became PartyLite.

PartyLite is active in over a dozen countries around the world.

Diane has been a PartyLite Consultant for nine years.

“Candles account for about half of all my sales,” Diane said. “One of the most popular items recently is a Reed Diffuser.”

The Reed Diffuser product comes with a glass bottle, decorative hanging charm, wooden collar and twelve naturally scented reeds.

PartyLite gives a person the potential to make good money,” Diane said. “People can give me a call or go to the website for exact  meeting and show times.”

Come by our B-Town Blog booth at the Farmers Market these next two Thursdays (October 2nd and 9th) and meet Diane in person. The Farmers Market is on 10th Avenue SW just north of 152nd in Olde Burien.

You can personally experience all of the available scents and see a sample display of PartyLite products in person at our booth.
