Free bike helmets will be given away to the first 200 kids under the age of 12 at Roxbury Spine and Wellness Clinic on Saturday, June 18, from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
All helmets will be properly fitted by the Roxbury staff, who will also be performing scoliosis and body fat screenings. The fun continues with face painting, a bounce house and cookout!
Come out and meet the Roxbury family and enjoy this great community event! The office is located at 2656 SW Roxbury Street (across from the Safeway gas station).
Parking is available in the Safeway parking lot.

Free helmets for kids is a really great thing. Good helmets are not cheap (at least $25). As it turns out, the B-Town Bike Fair – also held next Saturday from 10 to 3 – will also have 200 free helmets to fit and give away as part of our bike rodeo (courtesy of Highline Medical Center Foundation). If you live further south and don’t want to make the trek to White Center for a free helmet, and/or you want your kids to participate in a bike rodeo with skills courses, safety inspections, etc., come to Burien Town Square for the B-Town Bike Fair. And if any kid that comes to the Fair from the Roxbury event with their new helmet, we will get them going on the rest of the bike rodeo!
