Knitters new and experienced unite! It’s that time of year again, the annual Puget Sound Local Yarn Shops Tour. Our very own Yarn Stash in Burien (BTB Advertiser) will be part of the festivities with another exclusive pattern only available to tour revelers.
Last year’s coffee cup cozy was a hit by not only being crafty, chic but environmentally friendly. New to the needle crafts? Not a problem, this is the perfect event to get you started.
There will be specials on high quality yarns and The Yarn Stash even offers classes for every skill level. For the seasoned yarn diva’s this is the who’s who of the local yarn scene where you can compare projects, gets tips on new techniques and deals you won’t find anywhere else.

Here are the details:
WHAT: A four-day yarn crawl – 25 shops and fun at every one.
WHO: Twenty-five outstanding Local Yarn Shops in the Puget Sound region.
WHERE: From Birch Bay to Federal Way, from Issaquah to Whidbey Island, in cities and suburbs and towns. Here’s a link to a Google Map of it.
WHEN: May 19-22. Extended hours: Thursday and Friday from 10:00am to 8:00pm; Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00 pm.
HOW: Pick up your LYS Tour Passport at any participating shop, get your friends together and plan your route in advance.
WHY #1: Visit all 25 shops and be eligible to win one of eight gift certificates totaling $1500 from the LYS of your choice.
