PHOTO FRIDAY: Time Lapse At The Columbia River Gorge

BTB photographer Michael Brunk recently returned from a trip to explore the Columbia River Gorge. This “Photo Friday” feature includes some of the images he shot while visiting the Gorge.

Actually, it’s a lot of images. Over 950 of them strung together as a time lapse video.

The first half of the video was shot at Cascade Locks, OR looking north across the river into Washington. Early morning clouds swirl, disappear and reform as they interact with the geography of the land.

The second half was shot from Crown Point Vista on the rim of the Gorge, looking east along the Columbia River. At the bottom of the image, traffic on Oregon’s I-84 rushes by.
