
The City of Normandy Park Arts Commission will be holding a No Boundaries Exhibit “Metamorphosis” Open House on Thursday, Feb. 10th, from 7pm – 9pm.
The event will take places at the City Council Chambers, located at City Hall at 801 SW 174th Street in Normandy Park.
VSA arts of Washington is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing arts opportunities created by, for and with people having disabilities. Their ‘No Boundaries’ traveling art exhibition, which showcases artwork of established and emerging artists with disabilities, will be on display in City Council Chambers, 801 SW 174th St, Normandy Park from February 2 through February 28, 2011. ‘No Boundaries’ exhibits have toured the Northwest since 1991, providing an opportunity to launch or expand careers in the arts.
The ‘No Boundaries’ exhibit is sponsored by Creative Activities and VSA arts of Washington (an educational affiliate of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts). The Normandy Park exhibition of ‘No Boundaries’ is sponsored by the City of Normandy Park Arts Commission with financial contribution from Commission Member Robert Frey.
The City of Normandy Park Arts Commission invites everyone to join them at this opening celebration on April 1st for refreshments, conversations with some of the artists and truly enjoyable display.
