Local singer and songwriter Brooke Trisler just released a Christmas EP with a twist. All proceeds from the sale of Wondrous Star, Lend Thy Light go to Burien-based Orphan Relief and Rescue.

The EP was recorded in just three weeks time, on a zero dollar budget, with musician time and recording facilities graciously donated.

Orphan Relief and Rescue is a small, grassroots organization that delivers aid, construction and training to some of the worst orphanages in West Africa.
