If this is the guy I wouldn’t think they would lie about him having a gun. I’m sure they would want to make sure all their ducks are in a row and evidence in hand. Last thing they want is for the scum to walk free due to a technicality. The police are not typically up to framing people or planting evidence. At least there is no evidence in the past that SPD has done this before. I’d hate to start saying they were.
