Yes it's a milestone, but if we really want a pedestrian community, why aren't our leaders working on getting a park on Lake Burien. It would be a major addition to the city center and it can be done.

Now maybe the city fathers… errr…. mothers can concentrate on the rest of Burien not just the few who will live in the town square

Yes, definitely a great milestone for Burien. All that the city has accomplished since incorporation is quite amazing. To think it has only been about 15 years since Burien's incorporation as an actual city.

Indeed, Mike Kelly AND Gottlieb Von Boorien would be very proud.
