“Double volume next regular collection day for each missed container”- I've decided this means that since they missed *last* week, and were therefore going to collect TWO containers this week, then NEXT week we get double that volume, right?? How many weeks of missed collection days, at double the volume each week, does it take for an individual house's garbage volume entitlement equal the volume of the earth? :)

If you know anyone who does all his shopping on Xmas eve, I would encourage him to get on the ball and go Tuesday, instead, earlyish in the day.
