The B-Town Blog proudly announces and welcomes our very first advertiser, Burien retail legend and all-around great local guy Dan the Sausageman!

Dan has a long history in the B-Town area, having started out selling meat products some 20 years ago from his old Dodge Dart, driving from Burien down 99 through Kent, Algona, Federal Way, Fife, Tacoma,  and everywhere else in-between and back, stopping at car dealerships, stores and wherever he could find to peddle his meats.

Later, he opened a small retail shop near Seahurst, then about five years ago moved to the old Hi-Line Tin Shop where his store now resides (check out the pic of Dan with former Tin Shop owner Ernie Eder, still alive and kickin’ in his 80s!). Next door of course is one of Burien’s hippest and most fun and popular bars - The Tin Room.
