I want to thank everyone who has been helping us out. When I came home from work to the fire and found that my family was safe the next thing that went through my mind was “What now?”. We had the clothing that we were wearing, our car, one diaper bag with two diapers for each baby, half a can of formula and nothing else. I was thinking that we would wind up in a homeless shelter.

The response from the community has been far above and beyond what we expected or even hoped for. Even though we are staying in the Renton Highlands now, we want to return to Burien. It’s a great town with great people and I want to raise my children there.

Tis me again. My daughter (Morgans GS sister) and I arrived a bit later, but Fox news was still on site. Sure was nice to see Morgan smiling so BIG! (Note: No 6pm news on Fox, it’ll be at 10 tonight.)

We then went to see Hal and Deana across the street, and I was shocked when giving them the small amount I could at this time, that the salon owner insisted on giving me a cut and color!!

However I think my favorite part of the day was being able to “sneak” in a baby cuddle with their youngest…>wink!<
